Question on failed Windows updates
I have noticed when viewing my Windows Update history that a number of
updates failed. I am worried that some of these might be critical putting my pc at risk, but have been unable to find a way to download and reinstall them. Can someone enlighten me on a simple procedure for accomplishing this? Many thanks, Mary |

I don't install updates and have the option disabled - their mostly for IE anyhow and I haven't ever really used it. Unless there's a root kit I can't find, I'm malware free at all times. So don't worry too much if your updates don't install. Can someone enlighten me on a simple procedure for accomplishing this? Did you do a repair install of your OS? If so here's the update fix. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555615 -- Great images from Saturn http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/200...year_mark.html |

Question on failed Windows updates
If indeed you are on a 'gov' access then I would assume they have decent
protection and as such you would'nt be seeing much 'junk' wrote in message ... ECLiPSE 2002 wrote: I have noticed when viewing my Windows Update history that a number of updates failed.
