Default changing printer color default to black

I have Windows XP and HP officejet 6110 ...I would like to change the printer
default from always selecting "color" as a preference to "grayscale" or black
as a default...cant figure out how to do this ! I print 99% with grayscale
and very seldom with color...it is a constant waste of time to have to change
it everytime I print. Many thanks, KM
