Default cannot open internet browser

after getting rid of total pc defender my computer cannot locate any
files..can work offline but no internet connection..I am asked to check name
of file or use search. Search does the same thing

you might try testing the
browser via safe mode
w/networking

This is a bunch of questions and rather unclear on WHAT is the
MAIN problem. What the hell does "can not locate any files"
mean?

Since /one/ thing was clear, "no internet connection", here,
Google this:

http://www.google.com/search?q=XP+TC...&hl=en&ie=ISO-
8859-1

and try the one that seems most friendly.

READ the info/instructions before doing anything. Backup the
registry if you're paranoid although I wouldn't bother.
