Default How to tell what version you are using

How does one tell which version of a program one is using in Windows
XP?

I went to My Computer C drive Program files, but I don't see
anything about which version it is.

Many thanks,
Carl

Hi Carl:

If you want to know the version of Windows XP, right-click on "my computer" and click on
"properties".

If you want to know the version of any program installed on your computer, download and install
Belarc Advisor. http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Belarc but if you are running the program in question, normally Help, About
will give the information (and will for all Microsoft programs.)
