Default Printing Via Wireless Networked Laptop to Local Printer

I have recently set up a wireless home network so that I
could access my broadband connect from my laptop and my
home desktop computer. This seems to be working fine, i
am able to use my laptop from anywhere in my home with no
connectivity problem. My problem is this. On my desktop
I have the Ethernet Router installed and the Adapter is
installed on my laptop. Connected to the desktop
computer is my local printer.

Now, the question that i pose is this: How do I send
print jobs from my laptop to my locally installed printer
on my desktop computer?

Is this even possible? I did set up on both devices the
printer sharing option, but cannot get the print jobs to
print.

Please help. Any and all advise will be greatly
appreciated!

Thanks!
