MY PICTURES
I just brought my computer back from the geek hospital. Now, when I open my
MY PICTURES folder something is missing: The menu on the left side of the screen that has hyperlinks to tasks such as "Delete this folder" or "Move this folder", etcetera. How do I get it back? Thanks so much for your help! Neil |

How do I get it back? Read Shenan's answer, but let me add two points: 1. If a serviceman or service company changes something on your computer, it's *their* responsibility to fix it at no charge. You should not accept their having screwed something up. 2. If, by the "geek hospital," you mean the Geek Squad, let me point out that in my view, and that of many of us here, that's about the worst possible place to service your computer. Those people are largely incompetent. Service by the Geek Squad or by any other big box company should be avoided at all cost. You would almost certainly be far better off finding a local serviceman with a small company to work on your computer. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) since 2003 Please Reply to the Newsgroup |
