Timeout for access tokens via SMB
If I'm running Windows XP Pro (not domain joined) in a virtual environment
(VMWare), there is a possible security problem. When a the Windows XP Client connects to a network share, the credentials are prompted. Entering the credentials without "save credentials". If the virtual environment is suspended, the Memory will be written to disk. Now the problem: If the virtual pc is resumed in the next days, all connections to the network share are restored without prompting for a password. How can I set a timeout on restoring network connections. Regards Severin |
