Default Group Policy Editor in XP Home

I need to use gpedit in XP Home. Can I actually do this?

I have downloaded the GPMC file.

No, XP Home doesn't have support for gpedit.


I have downloaded the GPMC file.


Then why not try to install it and find out if it works?

I don't know. As I recall, XP Home can't join a domain anyway, so what's
the point.
