Default Media Player 11 crash/reboot

Am running Win XP Pro with MP11, 2GB ram, , SP3. I opened a .wmv
file today that was attached to an e-mail. It ran for about 6 sec. and then
the
screen seemed to crackle/flash and the computer was rebooting. Upon reboot,
there
was a screen that said the system had recovered from a serious error. This
has
happened two or three times now. I opened the same file in Realplayer and
it was ok.
I sent it back to the sender and he opened it with WMP, no problem. I use
Zone Alarm, Grisoft AVG, Spybot and Ad-Aware. Also ran SuperAntispyware and
they
all reported no problem. I would appreciate any help with this problem.
Thank You,
Don

Update: When I click on the corner of the Media Player screen and try to

make the picture larger, thats when it crashes. Am I just overloading my sys?
