Default Window Media Player 11 no playback

Hi. MY question probably has a simple solution, but I am very new at this.
Why
can't I see the movie clip (mpeg format) on the monitor of Windows Media
Player. I made sure that WMP accepts all file types but I still cant't see
it. I was able to create a Library list with all my clips but when I double
click it nothing is visible or audible. And...it says "now playing" any
advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Hi
I am in the same boat. I have WMP 2.6.4037.0 on my Vist machine. I have
downloaded, and paid for, the recommended Roxio codecs. WMP will load the MPG
file now but will not run or display it. Previously, prior to loading the
Roxio codecs WMP said the codec was missing. WMV files work OK. Please help
