Hello,

the video connector on the back of my laptop. I am wondering if i just need a

Default Video Input

Hello,

The video connector on the laptop is most likely to *output* video to
another output device, such as a TV, CRT, LCD or projector.

It does not, in most laptops, allow you to *input* video into your laptop.

After you have connected the cables, you will need to press a shortcut key
on your laptop keyboard. Look for a TV icon on the function row of keys. Hit
the Fn + (TV key) and your TV should activate.
