Default Washed out Video

My issue has just started over the past day or so. Every
video I watch looks washed out, but when I log into the
same machine with a different user, and watch the same
video, it looks fine. I have uninstalled media player. I
have restored my machine to a previous day. I have even
tried removing Media Player registry keys.

Any help?

Default Washed out Video

I have exactly the same issue, no matter what kind of video i play the screen
looks washed out. this happened to me just after installing DirectX 9.0C. I
did a repair install for win xp pro and i restored my DX to 9.0B and
everything is fine now. let me know what happens with you.
