If you purchased them at retail, you can contact Microsoft for Microsoft
products and any other specific supplier for any other products you might
have. If the disks were provided to you bundled with a computer you
purchased, you'll need to contact the manufacture of the computer who
supplied the applications to you.

Greetings --

If it was a retail license and you have proof of purchase:

How to Replace Lost, Broken, or Missing Microsoft Software or Hardware
http://support.microsoft.com/default...B;en-us;326246

If it was an OEM license, you should contact whomever sold you the
PC; although very few manufacturers/vendors keep records of the
Product Keys they've sold, it's worth a try before you have to buy a
new license.

I am having a similar issue with the product key for Microsoft Works Suite 2002. I contacted Dell, where the computer was purchased, and they directed me to microsoft. But when contacting microsoft, they directed me to Dell. Seems to be going around in circles!!!

This newsgroup is for XP. You may want to try microsoft.public.works.win

Hi, Kevin.

In addition to the Works newsgroup that Colin suggested, you might want to
visit the peer-to-peer newsgroup of other Dell users. The NG, on Usenet,
is: alt.sys.pc-clone.dell
