My Windows XP has the blaster virus
My WindowsXP has the blaster virus. I cannot maintain
enough time on the internet to get the security patch before the virus shuts me down. What do I do about that? I live in Phoenix. Is there a number I can call to get step by step instructions? I am working from my old computer which is connected to the internet now. It is a Windows 95 system, is not infected, but has no memory to get instructions, etc. I can only send and receive these messages to find out how to fix my XP. |

My Windows XP has the blaster virus
Try this ...
As soon as your computer reboots and Windows loads, click Start, then Run. In the box, type the following: shutdown -a (then click OK) This should buy you time to get your fixes and updates installed. Here is an excellent site with detailed instructions and links to patches: http://www.visualante.org/msblast/main.htm -- Cheryl Fischer Law/Sys Associates Houston, TX "Paula Garner" wrote in message ...
