Yes, if you have a third party program already loaded or
able to run from a CD or floppy. Deleting a file only
rewrites part of the name and tells the OS the space on the
disk is no longer reserved for that file.
As long as you have not defragged, created new files or
such, there are methods to restore "deleted" files. But if
you have done disk writes that may have moved data, added
files,the data you want to recover may have been
over-written.
