Default Optimize Registry

Xref: 127.0.0.1 microsoft.public.windowsxp.general:536649

Set Mechanic to default settings. If it's resetting OE something else is
wrong.

I use System Mechanic and if I use the registry cleaner Outlook Express
reverts to default settings, I lose my signature, message sort order etc.

I
am obviously allowing it to delete something it shouldn't but how do I

know
what not to clean?

System Mechanic (www.iolo.com) has an excellent registry optimizer/cleaner
program. If you were to use a non-approved registry cleaner with XP, the
"downside" would be programs that fail to operate as expected.
