Default Customizing Windows XP Color Scheme...

I used WinBlinds before but it really slows down my computer performace. So
I stopped using it.

Yeah, it is a shame for Windows XP really. Because in Mac OS X, you can
change the "skin" without any additional programs.

I thought Windows XP is a response from MS on Mac OS X but now I know its
not as customizeable as Mac OS X.

Yes that's all there are, unless you install a skinning program. I use
WindowBlinds from www.stardock.com. Download more skins from
www.wincustomize.com.

| Hi!
|
| I am just wondering how to change the "Color Scheme" of Windows XP styles.
|
| I went to "Display Properties" [Right Click the Desktop and choose
| "Properties"] dialog box and to "Appearance" tab, as shown in the attached
| screen shot.
|
| As you can see in the image, there are only three "Color Scheme"
available;
| Blue, Oliver Green and Silver. Is this all Windows XP has? Or is there a
way
| to get more schemes?
|
| Cheers,
| Tom
