Default Norton anti-virus

Is Norton anti-virus just as good at detecting a virus in in-coming e-mail
using Yahoo as it is with Outlook Express? This may be a dumb question but
I need an expert opinion here. Thanks

? If you have setup OE to access Yahoo email (POP3 account) then there is no
difference than any other POP3 server. However if you are using HTTP access
(through web pages) then you are relying totally on their virus protection.
Hotmail in OE is relying totally on MS's server because it is not POP3.
