Default Scan Disc on XP

Just moved on from win 98 to XP. Wanted to check if I

long page giving details of siomething similar but is
there an easy way to run scan disc on XP.

Many thanks

To check your disk for error:
1. Open My Computer
2. Right-click on the disk drive which you want to check and click
"Properties"
3. On the Tools tab, click "Check Now"

Windows XP has no scandisk. The XP equivalent is called chkdsk.
Enter chkdsk at the Start | Run line.
