I get the same message when one of my computers either is
restating or turned off.

until it disappears, our operation is not stable.

I think your issue is related to mine-please see below as this is driving us
nuts. This problem just started a few weeks ago, before that thinks have
been fine for the past two + years.
I'll currently working on this and I post any info I come across.

Setup: Win2k server as AD & DNS and is the file server for mixed clients,
win9x, win2k and winxp. The win2k and winxp machines are laptops.
The problem is that some of the winxp user
receives a warning that connection to the server
has been lost and only off-line content is available.
You are now working offline.
The truth is the server remains online. This is not a problem except that
one users
files get corrupted or they become ~hidden files.

The connection changes its state from time to time
and all the files that have not been "offline"
appears and hides.

I have configured and reconfigured all the offline settings without any
improvement. This is causing a major problem as one user has lost data from
a document that he tried to print when the warning came up that the computer
was no longer connected to the server. This by the way is not happening to
the win2k users. Any advice on how to track down this problem would be a
great service to us...the winxp user group! Thanks alex
