Default Daylight Savings time Adjustment being reset

Hello, Erol -

Windows 2000 servers use Kerberos 5 as part of the
authentication process and require workstation time to be
synchronized with the server. The W32Time service
performs this function.

Sounds to me like the box that needs to be checked is on
the server, not the workstation

We set up user PCs containing WinXP Pro. During setup

the
timezone is selected and the Adjust For DayLight Savings
Time is selected.

Then during the setup procedure when you set up the user
to join a Domian and after that process the DayLight
Savings Time Adjustment is de-selected.

If this is not caught then the times for all

applications
running on the PC which use the computer time are wrong.

Has anyone a fix or reason this time adjustment gets
turned off or reset during XP setup..?

thanks in advance for your time...
