Default Networking Error

I HAVE CAME ACROSS THIS SAME ERROR MESSAGE RECENTLY WHEN
TRYING TO SET UP MY NEW ROUTER. HAVE YOU HAD ANY LUCK IN
RESOLVING THIS ISSUE YET, BECAUSE I HAVEN'T. I WOULD
APPRECIATE ANY INFO THAT YOU HAVE AND I WOULD RECIPRICATE
IF I FIND ANY NEW INFO. THANKS
KEITH
-----Original Message-----
When configuring my network connection (chose the
option "setup a home or small business network"), I

select
the option "connects to the internet through another
computer, I enter the correct WorkGroup and then windows
says "that the windows wizard is configuring my network
connection. After a minute, I receive the error "Spoller
subsystem app has encountered a problem and needs to be
closed." The detailed error message indicates that the
problem is with the file spoolsv.exe.mdmp.

When this error occurs, I am unable to connect to my
network because DHCP does not work.
