Default Windows XP Stop error reboot BIOS upgrade

Recently I have upgraded the BIOS on an AOpen motherboard with an Intel
chipset running an Intel P4 processor to find that the computer hits a Stop
screen which I cannot read because it goes away too quickly and restarts.
What the f^c&'s with that?
