Default Email displays large font

I have done everything and cannot change the font size of
the email I receive. I have gone through all the steps
recommended by AOL people, settings, preferences, fonts.
Have gone to the control panel, appearances, settings, etc.
Anyone have any idea what I haven't looked.

if what Joe suggested doesn't get the font size you want
...... try right clicking on your desktop ....
propertiesappearancefont size .......
