Default How to copy filenames?

Try Directory Printer. It works in regular Windows mode. PWDirPrn can be
found at http://www.techweb.com/winmag/software/toolkit.htm

Help...

I want to be able to select a list of folders (or files) and capture that
list as a TEXT LIST. So that I can put the list into Word...

I feel sure this must be possible (was in DOS) and hope that somebody out
there might know how to do it???

Thanks

Ric

Not sure what the /b in; dir /blist.txt does - I guess it puts just the
filenames and not the path into the text file! Brilliant.

Thanks Bob - very useful too.

Go here to do all this with a free Windows tool - much quicker:

Once again, thanks to everybody who took the time to help!

dir /b list.txt

And if you do a "dir /b /s list.txt" command (omit the quotes) you get

all
the contents of the subdirectgories as well...
