POP UPS

some one please help me..I keep getting pop ups with the
tittle not being messenger but it being MICROSOFT
INTERNET EXPLORER pop ups. I have disabled messener and
it does not stop I have out a check in the little box
telling the coputer to protect it from the internet I
have done everything and I still get pop ups. remember
they are MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER pop ups not
Messenger pop ups.also I would like to add would it be
good to just reinstall XP to stop this? I need help
please someone help me....
