changing user name

Setting up Windows XP home I initially logged on via an
account named DAD. After realizing all my work files were
going out with the author and last saved by DAD I changed
the name of the account.

However all files still include DAD in the above
properties. The folder in documents and settings is still
called DAD even though it is accessed via an account with
a different name.

Can the user name be changed?
