Default Norton Anti Virus compatability with Windows XP Home Edition

I recently upgraded to Windows XP Home from Windows 98
2nd edition. I had NAV 2003 installed and working fine,
but with XP only part worked ( It wouldn't scan Emails) I
was advised to uninstall NAV ( which I did) and then to
reinstall NAV. I have tried this but the installation
goes half way through and then quits. What is wrong?
Thank you

You would have to had remove Norton Anti-Virus before upgrading to XP. Then,
re-installed it.

The version of NAV for 98 and XP are different and need different configs in
each.
