Default XP Shutdown for Admins only?

Hey guys,

Is there a way to stop user accounts who are not Admins
from shutting down the computer. My PC currently has 3
accounts. One admin (me) and two power user accounts. Is
there a way to not allow the two power user accounts to
not shutdown my PC? My PC is currently the print server on
the network!

Thanks in advance!

If the machine is XP Pro then use the Local Security Policy=20
to take control over the groups listed in the User Right to=20
Shut down the system.

I am running XP Pro, and you're solution kind of fixes the
problem but not really. Every user (including admin and
power users) has a screensaver password lockout after 15
minutes, which brings everyone to the login screen. In the
bottom left hand corner the option to turn off the PC is
still there. So is there any way to get rid of that?

Cannot answer you on the screensaver issue, but you=20
should try disabling the policy in the comp config section,=20
win/sec settings/local opts/sec opts for Shutdown: allow=20
machine shutdown without login
Is it active/successful for a non-admin as it is now ?
