Default Access Denied - I own it?

Hi Craig,

Since each user name are differnet, we can create 5 users on the server and
give the same password with each account. Make the 5 users on the server
have the administrator permission. This can solve the problem.

Thanks for using Microsoft News Group!

Sincerely,

Steven Liu

| Hello all,
|
| For the first time ever, I have set up a P2P network
| between 3 XP Pro machines. I have disabled Simple
| Sharing on all three. One of these machines has all the
| user files. There are actually 5 users. All user files
| are in their respective "My Documents". (Example: user
| Scott Scott's Documents, user Rita Rita's Documents,
| etc.) I have set "Documents and Settings" on
| the "server" to share and mapped it to drive "S". All
| permissions are set at the default. I cannot access any
| of the these sub-folders from the other machines. I want
| each user to be able to access his own files when they
| log in, regardless of what machine they use. Each
| person's password is the same on every machine. How do I
| get past the "Access Denied" message?
|
| Regards,
| Craig Hale
