Default XP Home Networking headache

I'll take it a step further Rob...

I can connect between computer A and B (which both have XP
pro) but computer C (which has Xp Home edition) is not
recognized by the other two. All computers have microsoft
client chech box checked and file sharing has been
enabled. Set up the Network wizard three or four times on
each as I thought I was doing it wrong. All have the same
workgroup name. All have been successfully pinged between
each other. There is only one administrator account for
each and there are no passwords so that is not an issue
either. Computer C (XP home) reconizes the network is
there under 'My network places' however I am denied access
when I double-click it.
Computer A and B (both XP Pro) do not recognize computer C
on their network places even after I mapped the network
drive but they seem to able to share between the two of
them fine. I have gone through the troubleshooter over a
half a dozen times and have exhausted all my knowlegde.
There must be a simple answer. Any suggestions?
VERY much appreciated!

Ok man, not to make you look like a total moron. Now that
you have it configured correctly (which you do)its is a
simple matter of designating which files and folders you
want to share.
1. Open "My Computer".
2. Right click on the drive(s) that you want to share.
3. Selet "Sharing" off of the menu that pops down.
4. Name the drive and hit ok and it'll have a little hand
under the drive icon if you did it right signifying that
the folder or drive is a shared one.
5. Do it to the other computer and everything should be
hunky-dory.

Hopefully, I have a standard XP networking issue. I have
two XP Home machines, desktop and laptop, connected to a
LAN via a router that came with the DSL package. They

can
ping each other. Their icons show up in Network
Neighborhood. Sharing is turned on for both, files from
both and a printer from the desktop. Client for MS
Networks is checked for both. Both must be logged in

with
a password. Both have guest accounts turned on. But alas
the shared resources are not accessible. The error
message says that "... is not accessible. You might not
have permission to use this network resource..." How do

I
grant permissions? I have been told that the problem can
be resolved by removing "Simple File Sharing" but I

can't
find the control panel for this. It's not in the Tools --
Folder Options -- View panel. Is it in the User

Accounts control panel? I'm looking for the same tool
that was once under "Manage" in Win2k. It gave fine
grained control to added "users", "everyone", "guests",
etc. Please help.
