Changing searching from MSN to Google in IE6?
I'm told it's possible to change the default search used in IE6
(WindowsXP home) from MSN to Google. Anyone of you clever people know if this is possible and if so how? Cheers. |

Changing searching from MSN to Google in IE6?
Click on the Search icon, when the box on the left side of the screen opens
click on custom, then customize and then at the bottom of the screen click autosearch settings and pick google. Now you can just type a word into the address bar and hit enter and it will open a google search of that word. "Richard" wrote in message ... The only choices it gives me is MSN or Lycos, no Google. I recall reading somewhere that Google is an option for XP sold in the USA whereas on UK versions it's MSN.co.uk or Lycos. However, I do recall there being some work-around/hack to get Google. |
