Default SP2 - Continuous reboot and unable to enter SAFE mode

After choosing the safe mode option ( or any other options i.e. last good
configurations etc.) the machine restarts itself for no reasons. happen right
after SP2 installation through automatic updates. Pls Advice.

Hi

If 'Last Known Good Configuration' doesn't work and Safe Mode can't be
accessed to try a System Restore, then you will have to look towards a
'Repair' install of XP:

I also encountered this problem. For my case, it is
because of my USB wireless mouse. I found out that I can
connect only one USB drive to my computer. Why don't you
try unplug all USBs and reboot!!! Correct me if I'm wrong

Not so. Repair does not help with SP2. I found this article on the internet
