Network printer properties

Hi,
When I want to see network printer properties or when printing a document
and want to modify a properties, it take over 15 seconds to be able to see
or modify a property.
Does someone have or had the same problem and how did you resolved it ?

Windows 2003 R2 print server
Windows XP SP3 workstations
