Default Using NT4.0 Print Server with Windows XP

When I try to install a shared printer on a Windows NT 4.0 machine from a
Windows XP machine, The Windows XP Machine takes over control of the printer
and any changes done overwrites the information on the Windows NT 4.0 machine.

Example after installing a printer and I delete the printer later the XP
machine will delete the printer from the server.

How can I keep this from happening.
