Default 'Perfect Font'

What is 'Perfect Font'...and why is my HP /XP2 having a hard time closing
the program? When I shut down the computer I get a message that Perfect Font
needs to close but it never does. If I choose 'end now' it just recycles the
message. I have to manually reboot via the power button and then it takes 5
minutes for the computer to refigure itself, and boot up to a usable
desktop. Where is this program located? Is it listed in processees?

Thanks,

Oreally

Neither is the lack of details you provided. You asked what is 'Perfect
Font'. So, when you Google it, you come up with the information I provided.

Tom: have a heart: I don't think he _knows_ any mo he's just getting
a box which tells him Perfect Font refuses to close. Unfortunately, as
you have pointed out, those two words make a phrase that has far too
many hits to be useful.

OREALLY: first, is there anything that looks like Perfect Font in any of
the menus under Start | All Programs? If so, see where it shortcuts to.

If not, then - under the same conditions as when you shut down - look in
Task Manager - not just at the Applications tab, but the Processes one.
Is there a process that looks likely to be the one? It might not be
called Perfect Font, but something like perffont.exe, perfect.exe,
font.exe, and so on - you get the idea. If there is, do a find on your
C: drive for the .exe in question, and tell us what it is and where you
find it, and we may well be able to move forwards.
