Suggesting alternative operating systems is also on topic or don't you
understand the generality of the word "general"?

McDonald's sell the most hamburgers in the world but that doesn't mean
McDonald's hamburgers are good for you or that they are the best hamburgers.

If you want.....I don't care.

My reply was prompted by your interjecting "Linux" into it, and
how it's OK for people that champion Windows bringing up Linux
in this group, but not for those that champion Linux to bring up
Linux here.

Don't think you've got the hang of this troll lark. Do you think
Windows user in here are in anyway interested in Linux?

So, what do you and your ilk get out of preaching about Linux in here?
You're not going to change anyone's habits because we all sing from the
same hymn sheet. So, one wonders what your motives are?

Sure....why not ?

You think everyone is that closed-minded ?

Linux in here?

I don't know what you my 'ilk' is, and I don't 'preach' about
anything here or anywhere.

(Whatever that's supposed to imply.)

I have no motives other than killing time until I decide to do
something IRL that's far more fulfilling.

Right now I'm contemplating going out and working on the 1965
Chevy Van in my driveway....(To be more accurate, working on
building the motor that goes inside the 1965 Chevy van in my
driveway.)

One thing you fail to understand day after day, week after week. Users who
already have Windows don't want or need that ****TY Linux anywhere near
their computers. This is the WINDOWS7 GENERAL forum and most people have
Windows you dumb ****. Go to the Lexus forum and I'll bet most people
have a LEXUS or are interested in LEXUS! LOL!

You don't get the concept do you? of course not, you use that ****ty Linux
so you don't have independent thought! LOL!

I use Windows and I'm interested in Linux. I learned about Ubuntu in an
MS Vista newsgroup.

You only speak for yourself and quite badly I might add.
