Default Fax Archive on Network Drive problem ?

Have XP Pro on 2000 Domain. I am trying to point the Sent
Items archive to a network drive. I receive the following
error "The specified folder cannot be found. Search for
the folder or an alternate folder, using the Browse
button".

There are 2 solutions I can suggest.
1. Fax Service runs as NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService. This account when goes
over the wire, presents the machine's credential. So the network folder,
make sure you add enough permissions for the machine which runs fax service.

2. The other alternate once you start your machine, do a explict net use *
to that remote machine\share. In fact after you do that, you dont need to
even use that drive as the path name. Network file shares always use the
existing connection's credential (in this it will be your logged in
credential), to do any subsequent connections.

Default Fax Archive on Network Drive problem ?

I think this is a problem in the Fax Console. I am not
having a network prblems with any other software.
Only when trying to change the Archive location using Fax
Console and Fax Printer Configuration options.
