Default Moving System Image

Got my new box a couple of weeks ago ( Win 7 64 bit ) . I
partitioned the
drive and made a system image to one of the partitions , using
Windows
Backup and Restore. I also created a Boot Disk.

After some experimentation , I'd like to do a fresh install , using
the Win
7 DVD wipe out ALL existing partitions , re partition and start
fresh.

Before I do that , I'd like to move the existing images to my
external hard
drive. I know , I probably should have created them on the external
drive
first , but I didn't have enough space.

At some point in the future , if I'd like to restore the image
moved to the external hard drive , will the Boost Disk allow me to
access it from the external drive even though it's been moved from
it's original location ( which of course ,won't exist after I re
format..)

TIA !!

Yes. You can even copy it to a USB memory stick and restore from
there.
