Motion blur on TFT

are the games u are playing using the monitors default
resolution?
any other could cause the blurring

I just bought a new Neovo 19" TFT screen, which should

fast response time (16ms?). However, when I run recent

Freelancer and C&C Generals on it, it shows a terrible
motion blur.
Isn't 16ms fast enough to deal with these sort of
animations? Could it
be a software problem, meaning the default drivers
installed with XP
not be able to handle it? I do have a disk with a driver
for the screen,
but I was told the default ones would be good enough.
