After installing SP2 I get the following error message:

"Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and
needs to close."

Does anyone know how to correct this or what is causingit?

Any informtaiion would be helpful.

When you click on "Send error mssage" it does so and
then the error message disappers and everything is
normal then. It takes about and additonal 40 seconds
or start up for the final screen appears with this
message.

You may have a spyware item starting up on the system. Run a DLL as an APP
is a warning that something is not right. I have been testing XPSP2 on a
clean machines for months and have not gotten this error on startup.
I would try some of the spyware programs like adaware, spybot to see if you
have something running in the background. If I knew the name of the DLL then
maybe someone could figure out what app is starting that is causing the
issue if it is not spyware.

Figures what out? It's been working fine here for general use, 'net use and
gaming.
