Problem copying from folders to SD card Via USB
Using Windows Pro SP2 I had in the past copied music and photo files by
dragging and dropping whole folders to my 1Gig SD card connected via a card reader/writer to the USB port. Now I get an error message. "Cannot copy xxxxx .. Path too deep". I have looked hard for a place to correct this and found nothing. Now sinking! -- jeff |

I think there's a limit of about 144 characters including directory (folder)
name AND file namr you wish to copy. Move your file(s) to copy up some levels and try again. -- David Nimon -------------------------------- "jeff "doc" matthews" wrote in message ... Thanks for your very prompt reply, I have tried your suggestion, I can copy
single files and a folder with about 10 files anything bigger than that and I get the same error message. On my laptop I seem to be able to transfer much bigger and deeper folders. -- jeff "David Nimon" wrote: I think there's a limit of about 144 characters including directory (folder) name AND file namr you wish to copy.
