Default CD and DVD Drive not recognized in Windows Explorer

My computer crashed, I think I fixed the problem(s)
related to that, but now in Windows Explorer (XP), the CD
and DVD drives are not recognized. I ran a diagnostic on
the drives and they are working properly.

How do I get the drives to show back up in the explorer?

Thanks
