Default Scandisk Problem with HD

When booting up, Scandisk wants to check my hard drive
for errors. It then automatically aborts with the
msg "Non-windows XP disk." I did recover my hard disk
from a boot sector error but I am worried that I cannot
run Scandisk and there is a problem with the disk. Anyone
have any ideas? Thanks kindly...

Hello

I would backup any important data on your harddrive
and maybe look into replacing it and getting a new drive

IF you have XP, then "scandisk" can't do anything to your HD since
scandisk does not exist in WinXP. Scandisk has never existed in ANY
NT architecture OS.

Now, if you are talking about chkdsk, well that's different...
