ps/2 keyboard and mouse

I cannot answer your question but my problem is similar.
I have just installed a wireless KB and mouse (PS2). On
start up everything is fine until I hit any keyboard key
and then the mouse and keyboard seize up. I notice that
the keyboard is not mentioned in Device Manager but I
don't know how to fix this. I have installed
MSIntellitype5.
