Pretending usenet is cool
After a long time of use, usenet slows down until you are in a room alone
waiting for calls. This is happening to me. Some time ago I thought I was alone but that's just the system kicking you out. Same thing happens to email. I only get spam and shops propaganda. Last thing still working are online newspapers with absurd news. On TV just Brazilian soap operas, news about wars, police cases, tragedy and sports. There is also some contests promissing you money if you call them. I mean I don't need this kind of entertainment. |

Did you forget to take your medications today? Should be Tanzania but I went Google Translator to confirm the spelling and was wrong. I drank a beer in the afternoon. Also took my troll's medication at morning and after lunch. |

Nixon by his various nyms is well known here, and most people don't get their knickers in a knot over him. Nobody has their knickers in a knot. Where does that come from? Oh right, you can't see my cheerful, smiling face as I type my replies. It is common in most newsgroups to out trolls. I don't know how many times I have read 'troll alert' on Usenet. I have also heard the term 'Don't feed the troll'. If you are fond of this particular troll then by all means feed it. Most newsgroups don't welcome trolls at all. My first post was only three words "Another pathetic troll". This was just a heads up. That's it. No knicker problem here -- JT |
