Default How can I stop spying on my conversations?

There is someone on my Network uses a software to spy on Network Members'
Conversations of Messenger. I think it called "IM Monitor MSN (or Yahoo)
Spy". How can I stop him from spying on my conversations? Is there an antispy
can help?

Who is this person, why is he or she doing this, and why haven't you spoken
to the network administrator?

Learn to cross-post:

A point not made is that N multiposted copies will consume N times the
disk space for each of the separate copies of the same post.
Crossposted messages have just *one* copy on the server with links in
the newsgroups back to the same single copy. Multiposting wastes disk
space on the server. Yes, your post may be small but remember that
you consume N times the space on one server and then do so again on
all the newsgroups servers worldwide. You waste more bandwidth
getting N copies of your multiposted message distributed to all the
newsgroups servers worldwide. Cross-posting has just one copy of the
message on an NNTP server, and only one copy gets propagated to other
NNTP servers.

To those visiting the newsgroups, crossposting helps them see ALL the
replies from those in the other RELATED newsgroup to which you linked
your post. That way, they don't waste their time duplicating similar
replies.

If you can't figure out how to click on the links that Vanguard already gave
you, you're not going to be able to do anything more complex on a computer
than click the mouse or type an email. If that.

Read the links and don't multipost this again.

Doubtful, and the reason I asked you these questions is that you don't know
exactly what this person is doing, the problem clearly *is* the person, and
you haven't explained enough about your network (e.g., are you on a
corporate domain? etc) for it to be a simple answer.

I'm a member of a LAN (DSL), and we r connected together through a router. So
anyone on the LAN can easily know others IPs. But i don't know exactly who is
this person and which software he uses, but I think it's "IM Monitor", and he
depends on my IP to spy on my conversations, because he is a member of the
LAN too. And I can't stop him legally, so i wanna use a software that can
help stopping him. Note: I did some steps, but don't know if it helps: 1- I
removed some services like (File and Printer Sharing). 2- I removed (Client
for Microsoft Networks). 3- My Computer is Hidden at (MyNetwork Places) so
nobody can see me at network places, but he is still able to see my IP. 4- I
installed (ZoneAlarm Internet Security).

Only required because above poster used QUOTED-PRINTABLE format.
When posting to newsgroups, do NOT use quoted-printable format.
* Not all NNTP clients handle quoted-printable format.
- Some users still use console-mode (non-GUI) NNTP clients.
- The long lines may not wrap properly.
- Scrolling is needed if the long line does not get wrapped.
- The long line may get truncated at the window's width.
- Quoted-printable format uses special character sequences for
logical formatting. View the raw source of your post. Text-
only clients may show that encoding when viewing your post.
* Quoting levels get mangled, especially for multiple replies.
* In replies, there is no clear delineation of content.
- Cannot tell what content is from the original poster and
what is from the respondent.
- Makes impossible to determine who said what when a reply
inserts comments inline with the quoted content.
Do not use HTML format. Post using plain-text format.
---[end of comments]---

Yeah, advice from someone that can't figure out that quoted-printable
and HTML are *not* to be used when posting to Usenet.

You also don't know how to click on URL links to do the reading of the
articles that were already provided to you. More likely that you are
lying about your ineptitude. It it becoming more evident that you are
attempting to violate your company's policies regarding the use of
THEIR property. Obviously you wouldn't need to be concerned about
privacy on your own home intranet.

Who said I'm a liar and I'm trying to violate my company policies?!! I have
internet at home, not at a company. And I'm connected to a LAN where someone
trying to spy on me. so I asked for your help. If u r going to help me, go
ahead. If u r not, stop bothering me by your replies. and when I said "I
don't know how to use cross-post", i meant that i was not knowing how to use
it before u sent me the URLs. thats why i posted it many times, because i
didnt know where should i post it (at Windows Messenger, or Security and
administartion, or Security General). Don't judge on a person before u know
him.
