up-grade
I'm did a up-grade from windows 98 to windows xp, after
the up-grade I could no longer go on line.I'm using AOL 8.0..when I converted back to windows 98 I got on line. any clues why 8.0 won't work on xp??? The error message is " un-able to find modem..device manager say's the modem is working fine.

Check the website for your modem. There may be updated Windows XP device
drivers you can download. wrote in message ...
