It's transferable as much as you want so long as it's within terms of the retail license. As to your other question, it's restricted to 3 active licenses at one time. If you uninstall it and and reinstall on another system, or do a hardware upgrade requiring reactivation it may take a phone call to Microsoft. Or it may not. I did a complete reinstall within one week of the original install on one of my home systems after replacing the primary HDD and changing the CPU. Did not require a phone call. Just activated online normally. All three licenses were already activated when I did this. |

I also see they have it as # Temporarily unavailable An upgrade is not as good a deal as a student copy Thanks |

Only restriction is it is no longer offered by Microsoft. True...I see the usual kind hearted private sellers on Amazon are reselling them at double the cost or more. |
