Default Where is Safely Remove Hardware?

There are so many annoying things about W-10.

Safely Remove Hardware was in the box that opens when the ^ was clicked on
the taskbar. It was there last night. Tonight I went to remove a thumbdrive
and it's gone. Cortana says to look in Windows Explorer and turn it on. It
doesn't say where in WE. No one turned it off. Agent Ransack couldn't find
it. Googling as usual wasn't very helpful. This is apparently a known
problem. I tried the info found online and couldn't find a Safely Remove
Hardware icon to drag to the taskbar. Since with Classic Shell I can switch
back and forth I can only assume the info given online isn't for W-10 Home
but for some other version such as Pro. Then there's this one.

Fix: Safely Remove Hardware Icon Disappeared in Windows 10
https://windowsreport.com/safely-rem...on-windows-10/
Nov 20, 2017 - If the icon is available, you can permanently pin it to your
Taskbar by doing the following: Connect a USB flash drive or any other
removable storage to your PC. Click the arrow in the bottom right corner to
expand the sysbar section. Now locate Safely Remove Hardware icon and drag
it to your Taskbar.

There is no "arrow" on the bottom left when switched to W-10 Start menu.
Start and a Task View icon is all that's there. Can someone please explain
why this icon vanishes and how to get it back in W-10 Home?

I've never had this issue with Windows10 and I've been using it since was
in beta and Microsoft gave it away for free.
Perhaps you are using a third party add on such as Classic Shell and that
might be causing an issue? Have you tried contacting customer service of
any third party add ons you are using to see if they can help solve the
issue?

I never heard or read about Classic Shell causing problems on anyone's PC.
I have heard and read many many times how Windows updates caused some
serious problems - going back to the mid 90s. If I delete the updates they
will only be crammed down my throat again. I've been using Classic Shell
for years and it never caused a problem. But thanks for the suggestion.

"If both Classic Explorer and Classic Start Menu are installed,
then some of the icons in the task-bar will not appear
(e.g., "Bit Defender", "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media",
and sometimes "Second Copy").
"

I don't think it's necessarily guaranteed to do that, but at
least somebody noticed. That post was back in 2014.

Why the **** are you using something that you can't use because of your
low intelligence? Have you thought of using Linux that requires little
or no intelligence? The good thing about Linux is that you don't have
to do anything useful on it because it can't do anything productive.
There is always a plausible excuse when your low intelligence becomes
public.

No need to be scared of Linux.
You use it more than you think, if thinking was a possibility for you.

Why did you change your name from Micky to HB? Is it because your head

I see you found a use for Windows... scanning for viruses all day.
How productive.

In article , says...

The "arrow" is the flyout for "show hidden icons"

To enable or disable it...

Right click taskbar.
Select taskbar settings.
In the notification area:
Click "Select which icons appear on the taskbar".

If the first item: Always show etc... is set to on, then you will not
see the flyout

Select off to show the the flyout, then find
"Windows Explorer Safely remove hardware and eject media"
in the list and turn that on.

It shows it is turned on but it is not THERE on the flyout. It's not on the
taskbar either.

The safely remove icon should now be in the flyout or on the taskbar and
you can drag and drop the icon between those two locations.

This works in a totally stock Win 10 installation, if it is not
available on yours, I would look to classic shell or some other
customisation as the culprit.

It worked fine for a few weeks after installing Classic Shell. Then it
suddenly wasn't there.

Please try not to use descriptions such as
"arrow" on the bottom left" as that only applies to your PC

Here is a screengrab of my desktop, can you find the left of the
taskbar?

https://s20.postimg.org/npx6zt9pp/screengrab.jpg

Thanks. Do you know how I can find Safely remove Hardware, the actual
software, on my PC? Search and Agent Ransack can't find it. It's not under
apps or programs. Cortana found the icon but when I typed the info into
RUN, what it said to do, the icon did not appear. Nothing!

I can't recall seeing aanything that looked like that. I would not turn off
